The Center for Professional Selling within the Department of Marketing continues to expand its impact, bringing in record student engagement and industry participation this year. Under the leadership of April Schofield, the center is working to broaden student involvement in the Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) program by reaching more marketing and College of Business students. Current PSE members are visiting marketing classes to share their experiences and encourage others to join.

This spring, the Center for Professional Selling hosted some of its most successful events to date. One of the standout gatherings was the Professional Selling Networking Event, which drew one of the highest student turnouts in the program’s history. The Meet and Greet event connected over 80 students with leading industry professionals from companies like Northwestern Mutual, Sherwin-Williams, Enterprise Holdings, and Fastenal. Cintas also joined as a guest, with hopes of becoming an official partner in the future. The event’s energy reflected the growing enthusiasm around professional selling and the strong sense of community being built.

These include sales roleplay competitions, public speaking events, interview and marketing challenges, and networking with local business partners. At PSE, students are able to build community with like-minded and welcoming individuals and form lasting connections. Through our corporate partners, members are able to expand their network and have excellent job opportunities upon graduation.
