Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
Few things are more elemental to human health than food. Whether you are a healthcare professional, Registered Dietitian or you’re hungry for the latest nutrition science, a Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Science can help you expand your understanding of nutrition and give you foundational knowledge to use in your life or profession.
As a student pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Science, you will receive a strong background in how macro- and micronutrients function in the human body, have opportunities to conduct and analyze research, acquire communication skills specific to nutrition and participate in community-based learning experiences.
MSU Denver offers the only graduate certificate in Nutrition Science in the Denver area. The 12-credit-hour program is distinguished by the following:
Convenient, hybrid classes. Fit your nutrition studies into your busy schedule. Your certificate program consists of four, 8-week hybrid courses. Each class combines class meetings on MSU Denver’s downtown campus with online learning. (Studies show that the hybrid course format improves learning outcomes.)
Continuing Education (CE) credits. Earn CE credits in addition to your Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition Science. All courses in this program also apply toward MSU Denver’s M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics.
The Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Science is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission.
