Dear friend of MSU Denver,

The holiday season is upon us, and I want to wish you and your loved ones lots of health and happiness on behalf of Metropolitan State University of Denver. I know many of our celebrations won’t look the same as what we are used to, but I am hopeful that new traditions will be born out of these circumstances.

It’s been a year of challenges, but our Roadrunners have risen to the occasion. The following video highlights some of the ways the University community has shown resilience and made an impact. I am so grateful for them and to all of you who continue to support our work and mission.

And speaking of talented Roadrunners, I’d also like to share a sneak peek at our virtual Holiday Card to the City performance. This is usually a live concert, and I was crushed to have to miss my favorite event of the season this year. But wow! See how our phenomenal festival choir and symphonic band were able to adapt and harmonize from home. I hope their most creative rendition of “Sleigh Ride” gets you into the joyous spirit of the season, however you celebrate.

I wish you all the best now and into the coming year.

Sincerely,

Janine Davidson, Ph.D.
