If you are a community college student enrolled in an Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) program the fully online RN to BS Option with dual enrollment is designed to help you graduate sooner.
The MSU Denver Nursing Program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and approved by the Colorado State Board of Nursing.
Your Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Degree diploma and transcripts will not specify if a degree is earned online or in-person because our students learn from the same faculty and receive the same rigorous, high-quality education whether they come to campus or learn remotely.

WUE is the Western Undergraduate Exchange, a program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Through WUE, students in western states (AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, ND, OR, SD, UT, WA, WY, Guam, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and Federal States of Micronesia) may enroll in many two-year and four-year college programs at a reduced tuition level: 150 percent of the institution’s regular resident tuition. WUE tuition is considerably less than non-resident tuition.

Compare credits you have previously completed on our Transfer Credit Portal. By reviewing your previous courses, you can determine which courses will be accepted on your path to graduation.
Use the code ‘online’ on the payment page of the MSU Denver Application to apply for free! Select the Nursing (Undeclared) major. All nursing students must begin their application as Nursing (Undeclared).
Submit college transcripts, AP scores, IB transcript, or DD214.
The RN to BS program is competitive and includes GPA and other requirements. Please carefully review the requirements and speak to a nursing advisor well in advance of when you plan to apply.
Please see the MSU Denver Background Check Guidelines. In addition, a drug test will be done prior to admission to the BRNCO program.
Accepted MSU Denver Nursing (Undeclared) students apply to the BRNCO program at any time.
The priority application deadlines for the BRNCO are: December 1st (Spring Start), May 1st (Summer Start), and August 1st (Fall Start).
Applications received after the deadline will be accepted on a space available basis.
