Employment of Anthropology majors as archivists, curators, and museum technicians and conservators is projected to grow 19% from 2020–2030, much faster than the average for all occupations. Career options for online Anthropology majors vary from English as a Second Language (ESL) programs and non-profit organizations to research services and cultural heritage jobs.

Course options and availability differ each semester. The online anthropology degree is a good option for students who are primarily interested in cultural and/or linguistic anthropology. All of the required anthropology introductory courses are currently being offered online at least once a year.
