If you’re outside of state (or at least out of the state of Colorado) and seeking a flexible and high-quality online education, Metropolitan State University of Denver has compelling reasons to consider its online programs.

Here’s why MSU Denver Online is ideal for out-of-state students.

1. 100% Online Degrees with Access Anytime, Anywhere

Online degrees are ideal for everyone as it’s anytime, anywhere learning.

We provide a wide array of fully online bachelor’s and master’s degrees, certificates, and minors, allowing students across the U.S. and outside the country to pursue their education without relocating or even having to visit campus. Our programs are wide and varied, and they’re are all specifically designed to accommodate your schedule and location.

2. Scholarships and Financial Support for Online Students

Some western colleges have options for reduced tuition with WUE (the Western Undergraduate Exchange), a program through the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Through WUE, students in western states/territories (Arkansas, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam) may enroll in all undergraduate degree programs at a reduced tuition rate: 1.5x of the institution’s Colorado resident tuition. WUE tuition is considerably less than non-resident tuition. We’re proud to offer WUE rates to out-of-state students, where students can stay in their own state.

MSU Denver goes one step further in its affordability! If you live in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, or Wisconsin we offer great discounts through Roadrunner Interstate Tuition (RIT).

In addition, we offer several scholarships specifically for online students. New students enrolling in a fully online undergraduate degree or certificate program can receive a scholarship in their first semester, with an automatic renewal each subsequent fall and spring semester, provided they meet eligibility requirements. These scholarships are automatically awarded to eligible students and are not need based, simplifying the financial aid process.
