We are honored to announce that the business and accounting programs at the College of Business at Metropolitan State University of Denver have earned a six-year extension of accreditation from AACSB International, one of the most prestigious recognitions in business education worldwide.

AACSB accreditation is globally recognized as the longest-standing and most respected form of specialized accreditation a business school can achieve. Fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide hold AACSB accreditation. Earning and maintaining this distinction requires a rigorous review of everything from a school’s mission, faculty qualifications, curricula, and overall ability to deliver high-quality programs that prepare students for meaningful careers.

AACSB accreditation signals to students, employers, and partners that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and relevance. It means our students are learning from highly qualified faculty, engaging with current and innovative curriculum, and graduating prepared to lead in today’s complex business environment. It also strengthens the value and reputation of a College of Business degree in the marketplace.

MSU Denver’s College of Business first earned AACSB accreditation in 2016, and this reaccreditation reflects our continued commitment to excellence and improvement. Accreditation is not a one-time achievement. It is an ongoing process that challenges us to assess, innovate, and elevate everything we do.

We extend our sincere thanks to AACSB International for this recognition. We also offer our deepest gratitude to our faculty, students, and staff. Your hard work and commitment to preparing the next generation of business leaders made this accomplishment possible.

We are proud of this milestone and excited for the future as we continue advancing excellence, innovation, and impact in business education.
