In light of all the career events hosted by MSU Denver throughout each semester, speakers like Kara Goodson of Eide Bailly LLP, boost our students’ confidence by providing them with an incredible toolkit for career success. This visit highlighted how students’ can fine tune their elevator pitch, how to dress for professional occasions, how to practice active listening as well as ask the right question, how to conduct career related research and lastly, how to have your resume in tip top shape. This left the students of this Accounting class better prepare for their career, make a positive impression, and be memorable when making new connection.
