Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
The IDP in General Studies (GS) provides students the ability to earn a multidisciplinary degree with courses across the university. Rather than focus on one discipline, students following this IDP will receive a broad view of the Liberal Arts, History, Quantitative Literacy, Communication, Natural and Social Sciences. Some key questions students can explore: How does the scientific method work and how can it solve problems in the natural world or human societies? Why does social group or national identity matter so much? How does cultural expression shape emotional life and social life? How have people before me promoted but also challenged inequality? How does where you live shape how you live? These questions have answers in the Liberal Arts, Humanities, and Sciences. An IDP Major in General Studies would guide students to explore one of these or more questions.
