CONFERENCE THEME:

Water and the American West

Water shapes every story of the American West.

It has sustained communities, carved landscapes, inspired cultures, generated economies, and sparked conflict. Today, as climate change, environmental justice, Indigenous worldviews, and sustainability reshape our understanding of the region, water invites us to ask new questions-and to reconsider old assumptions. Now is the time to listen to one another and discuss how we all relate to Water.

Join students, scholars, artists, scientists, and community leaders for an interdisciplinary exploration of one of the West’s most vital and enduring realities.
