Biography

I have been a dedicated social worker since 1991. I am a dynamic educator who is honored to mentor students as a professor and administrator in the Social Work department.

Research Interests

    Most of my career, I have worked with children, youth and families in diverse settings. I am especially interested in how to support youth of all backgrounds to be resilient.

Teaching Interests

    I am interested in helping students to bring theories and social work knowledge that they are that they are learning in the classroom into their field internship experience.
