Bio
After graduating from MSU with an Industrial Design degree, Stephen spent the first ten years of his career working in industry roles that included mechanical design, CNC operation, welding and fabrication. In addition Stephen worked as a contractor at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science designing and producing exhibits and tools to aid in demonstration of scientific concepts.
Stephen spent the second ten years of his career in education as an Advanced Manufacturing teacher at both the high school and community college levels. Like any other design and fabrication teacher, Stephen enjoys helping students build technical and professional skills, but he especially enjoys connecting students with industry professionals.
That is what brought him to this role as lab coordinator at AMSI. Here, Stephen works to deepen the partnership between MSU and York Space Systems. York helps the Advanced Manufacturing program stay up to date and aligned with industry as it continues to innovate and advance. Students benefit from opportunities to do authentic work and begin building their professional network here at MSU.
