Bio
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSUD). I teach a variety of communication courses including health communication (cross listed in the Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences Department and the Department of Communication Studies at MSUD), presentational speaking, and fundamentals of oral communication. My program of research borrows from health and organizational communication scholarship to examine the intersections of culture, health, globalization and community participation in marginalized communities.
