Bio

I earned my Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 2009. My teaching focuses on Methodology, Urban Sociology, Industry, Work, and Occupations, and Introduction to Sociology. My research interests tend to focus on social capital, the creative class, community development, health, and crime.
