Research Interests

Her research interest is developing teacher education technology curriculum, promoting critical thinking ability using technology, disseminating of technology in K-12 education and evaluating effectiveness of technology integrated K-12 projects. She is also interested in developing programs to improve equity and diversity through instructional technology on campus or e-learning environment.

Teaching Interests

She believes that good teaching should empower students to make their own decisions about problems around them and to change society by thinking critically and reflectively. Good teaching also should help students develop the life-long skills needed to live in society.
Technology is inevitable in our daily life. Education is not just about transmitting dead knowledge but about creating new meanings for the current age using both established knowledge and new mediums. She strongly believes that technology can play a key role in achieving the three important educational goals such as knowledge, empowerment, and lifelong skills. Her teaching and research throughout her career in education was focused on those goals.
