Bio

Matt (Richard) Ostberg is an experienced statistician and data analyst with over 15 years of expertise in quantitative methodologies, predictive modeling, and data-oriented training. Currently serving as the owner and consultant at Sage Advice LLC since 2009, Matt provides statistical consulting for Ph.D. dissertations, clinical trials, and research projects, alongside tutoring in advanced mathematics and statistics.
His corporate experience includes leading analytical roles at Oracle and Staples, where he developed predictive algorithms, performed time series analyses, optimized operational strategies, and improved customer retention through data-driven insights. Matt holds a Ph.D. in Research Methods and Statistics from the University of Denver.
