Bio

I received my Ph.D. in Sociology with areas of concentration in Family Studies and Social Deviance from South Dakota State University in 2004 . I joined Metropolitan State University of Denver as a full time faculty in 2007. Currently, I am a professor of Sociology at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Research Interests

My research interests are varied, including global and domestic perspectives, Comparative Sociology, Family Studies, Socio-Psychological Aspects of Mental Health, Subjective and Objective Alienation.

Teaching Interests

In addition to the courses that I have taught, my teaching interests are: Globalization and Cultural Studies, International Political Sociology, Social Theory, Research Methods, and Sociology of Mental Disorders.
