Bio
A little about myself: I joined the Health Professions Department at Metropolitan State University in Fall 2010 as affiliate faculty, and now I serve as full-time faculty. Over the years I have taught courses in public health, program management, health care organization, and health disparities. Previous to this, I served as a program manager at the University of Colorado Denver (UCD), Center for Public Health Practice, which is within the Colorado School of Public Health. In that position I managed a technical assistance program, providing support to communities around the state working on tobacco control policy initiatives. While at UCD I also severed as an evaluation specialist with the Community Program Evaluation Group (CPEG). I graduated from the Colorado School of Public Health from their Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) program in Community and Behavioral Health. As a student, employee, and professor, I understand the hard work and dedication required to accomplish your academic goals, and I hope to serve the MSU students to successfully complete their goals and degree work.
