Teaching Interests

My teaching philosophy is grounded in equity, inclusivity, and active learning. Drawing on my work with the CSTA Equity Fellowship, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and CREDE’s Standards for Effective Pedagogy, I strive to create classrooms where all students feel a sense of belonging. I design student-centered curricula that connect concepts to real-world applications, with projects that mirror industry practices and emphasize collaboration, problem solving, and reflection. My approach balances rigor with support, helping students grow into independent, lifelong learners. I also support students in preparing for their careers by guiding them in drafting résumés, building portfolios, and developing skills for job fairs and interviews. Ultimately, I see education as a process of co-constructing knowledge, cultivating curiosity, and empowering students to thrive.
