Bio

Professor Cynthia Kuhn teaches literature, writing, and film. Her work has appeared in McSweeney's Quarterly Concern, Literary Mama, Copper Nickel, Prick of the Spindle, Mama PhD, and other publications. Scholarly books include Self-Fashioning in Margaret Atwood's Fiction: Dress, Culture, and Identity; Styling Texts: Dress and Fashion in Literature (co-edited with Cindy Carlson); and Reading Chuck Palahniuk: American Monsters and Literary Mayhem (co-edited with Lance Rubin). She also writes the Lila Maclean Academic Mysteries (The Semester of Our Discontent, The Art of Vanishing, The Spirit in Question, The Subject of Malice, The Study of Secrets) and the Starlit Bookshop Mysteries (How to Book a Murder and In the Event of Murder).
