Research Interests

Film Studies, Monster Studies, Folklore, Mythology, British literature (Victorian, as well as 17th and 18th centuries), early American literature (17th-19th centuries), popular culture studies, extinction, composition, rhetoric and pedagogical theory.

Teaching Interests

Literature (specifically Victorian literature and culture, British Literature, children's literature, mythologies, and horror/monster studies), film (especially international films, vampire films, and horror films), cultural studies, and folklore. My teaching philosophy is student-centric.

Office Hours

Mondays from 12:15-1:45 and 3:15-4:15, Tuesdays from 11:00-12:15, and Thursdays from 11:00-12:15
