Bio
Anne Thulson is a Professor in Art Education at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her practice includes teaching 20 years at a K-8 Denver public school and School of the Poetic City, her contemporary art daycamp for kids. Her recent publications include contributions to What Happens at the Intersection of Conceptual Art & Teaching? Amsterdam University of the Arts Press, (2023) and Teaching Contemporary Art to Young People: Themes in Art for K-12 Classrooms, Teacher's College Press (2021). She also makes art through traditional and post-studio methods and works daily to become an anti-racist/anti-biased educator.
