Andrew Holt

Professor of Accounting

Bio

Dr. Andrew Holt is a professor of accounting at Metropolitan State University of Denver. He previously held positions at Kingston University, Gloucestershire University, and the London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom (UK). Andrew obtained his Ph.D in accounting at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK. He also holds an MSc in Accounting from the LSE, and a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Kingston Polytechnic, UK.

Dr. Holt is a Fellow and former president of the Small Business Institute, and current Editor of the Small Business Institute Journal (from 2021-current). His research interests include accounting for common area maintenance costs in the UK Commercial real estate industry, small business accounting, environmental management accounting, international financial reporting, and emerging management accounting practices.
