Bio

Hello, my name is Allison Draayer. I am originally from the Chicago-land area. I moved to Denver in 2008 and have loved it ever since, especially the Colorado weather! I have my bachelors degree in Communications from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I received my Masters in Social Work from University of Denver in 2013. I currently work in community health as the manager of the Patient Navigation and Intensive Care Coordination departments. I am very passionate about serving others and improving health care for the underserved. I love teaching and really enjoy teaching in the Health Professions and Patient Navigation programs at Metro!

In my spare time, I like trying new restaurants, going to movies, reading non-academic books and hanging out with my husband, kids and dog.
