Metropolitan State University of Denver produces around 3,500 graduates each year. But what happens to alumni once they cross the Commencement stage?
Post-Graduate Outcomes Survey
In 2017, MSU Denver began administering the Post-Graduate Outcomes Survey to each graduating class, collecting data on Roadrunners’ postgraduation pursuits.
Six months after graduation, graduates are asked about their employment status, salaries, continuing education and overall experience at MSU Denver. The survey also gathers information about how they found their job, the industry they’re working in, their employer, whether they completed an internship and in which institution they might have enrolled for their master’s degree.
How to access data
MSU Denver colleges/schools and departments can check out the interactive Tableau workbook, select an area of interest from the drop-downs and see the survey results for that area’s degree recipients.
How faculty and staff members can help
With every graduating class, MSU Denver accumulates more data and continues to expand its understanding of students’ trajectories. But the Business Intelligence unit needs help.
Encourage upcoming and recent graduates to watch their personal email addresses for a survey from the Office of Alumni Relations. Graduates’ confidential responses will help MSU Denver continue improving and tailoring its services and academics to the needs of a diverse student body.
