Dear Roadrunners,
Happy Commencement week! As we wrap up finals, celebrate our graduating Roadrunners and return to largely normal, pre-pandemic operations, it’s refreshing to shift my focus back to University operations.
Since we first established this article series, Covid-19 and public health conditions have stabilized. Therefore, the nature of this series is changing. My future regular communications in the Early Bird will be bimonthly and will focus on the work of the Administration Branch.
Topics will include:
- Campus operations and facilities news
- Finance, Information Technology and Human Resources updates
- Campus safety and general public health and safety information
- Covid-19 response updates as needed
My goal is to keep the University’s employee community informed about ongoing building renovations and improvements, changes to building access and hours during the summer months, infrastructure and technology projects, and more.
Thank you all again for your efforts and sacrifices over the past two years to keep our campus community safe and healthy. I hope you will continue to follow this series so we can keep working together to serve students and meet our mission.
