The Metropolitan State University of Denver Staff Senate met Tuesday, opening with President Rebecca Reid giving a SharePoint refresher and how to use it to gather information and stay connected to Staff Senate.
The site can be used to:
- Contact the Staff Senate.
- View events, including meetings and additions to the calendar.
- View documents such as bylaws, constitution, agenda and meetings.
- View the directory to find senators.
- Find information on committees and monthly committee updates.
Sen. Brian Gunther then announced that nominated staff members have until Monday to decline or accept nominations before the upcoming Staff Senate ballot can be voted on.
Community announcements:
- Reid announced that President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., formally approved the Alternative Work Arrangements policy.
- Sen. Emalie Whan-Traylor announced that it’s been almost 10 years since MSU Denver’s name change that occurred after it was granted University status.
- Secretary Brandi Rideout announced that the record-setting Day of Giving raised over $220,000 from more than 1,100 donors.
