Bookstore to launch a new website this summer

Presidential Faculty Fellow Sophia Tran, Ph.D., joined the Staff Senate to discuss problems that staff members have had with the bookstore since the Auraria Higher Education Center turned it over to Barnes & Noble. Concerns included the lack of in-store and online merchandise, problems with book orders and rushed software implementation. This summer, Barnes & Noble will launch a new website and process for book orders. In the meantime, a small selection of MSU Denver merchandise has been made available on Amazon. Contact Tran to share feedback, comments and concerns.

Administrative performance evaluations are due by June 30

Marlys Merrill, senior program manager of Learning and Development, spoke about this year’s end-of-year administrative-performance-evaluations process, which she said will be similar to last year’s. Worksheets and instructional videos have been accessible since May 16, evaluation forms will be available for submission June 1, and performance evaluations are due by June 30. Additional resources, including updated forms and training opportunities, can be found on the MSU Denver Learning and Development SharePoint site.
