The fall semester is in full swing, which means it’s time to step up your sock game during the fifth annual Metropolitan State University of Denver Socktober!
Last year was our most “sock-cessful” Socktober yet — 350 generous donors contributed nearly $18,000 toward student success by donating 711 pairs of socks and bringing our four-year total to over $64,000 and more than 2,300 pairs of socks. Your generosity has kept students’ hearts and toes warm all winter long so they can focus on earning a degree.
When you make a gift of $25 ($15 of which is tax-deductible) to a student-success fund on the official Socktober giving page from Oct. 1-31, you will receive one pair of limited-edition MSU Denver socks and another pair will be donated to Rowdy’s Corner to be distributed to students.
There are two new sock designs:
- An athletic crew sock
- A business sock
Did you miss out on last year’s socks? A limited number of sock packages with last year’s design and both pairs of this year’s socks will be available with a gift of $70 ($45 is tax-deductible).
There’s no trick — treat your feet this October by making a toe-warming gift during Socktober that will have you showing your Roadrunner pride down to your toes. Together, we can ensure that MSU Denver students have access to the resources they need to become tomorrow’s changemakers.
