Metropolitan State University of Denver is proud to be in the heart of downtown Denver, where Roadrunners can easily find themselves in the center of exciting and historic events such as the Stanley Cup Final. As the Colorado Avalanche competes for its third Stanley Cup in franchise history, thousands of National Hockey League fans have flocked to the Tivoli Quad for the Colorado Avalanche Pepsi Zero Sugar Watch Parties. While the Avs have battled the Tampa Bay Lightning, MSU Denver employees, students and community members have gathered for free, watching each game on the big screen surrounded by friends, food trucks and live music. Some lucky fans have even enjoyed free swag and prizes.

The Tivoli Quad will fill up again this evening for Game 5 next door at Ball Arena, where the Avs, up three games to one in the best-of-seven series, have a chance to hoist the Cup for the first time since 2001. Gates open at 4 p.m., and the puck drops at 6 p.m. Read more about Watch Party access, parking tips, road and building closures, general safety and more. Go, Avs!
