The Office of Faculty Affairs has launched the Faculty Sounding Board, an anonymous-feedback and input-gathering form available to faculty members at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
The central purpose of the Sounding Board is to provide all full-time and part-time faculty members with an opportunity to ask questions, express concerns, offer suggestions and share information about things being done on campus that help create and maintain an environment where faculty members feel valued and supported.
Like Tuesday Talks With the Provost and the President’s Idea Catcher, the Sounding Board is intended to serve as a forum for faculty members to convey insights and experiences. However, the Sounding Board is managed by the Office of Faculty Affairs, a department whose sole purpose is serving and supporting MSU Denver faculty members throughout their career at the University. Thus, the office will gather input from professors; identify and organize shared concerns and common themes; communicate to senior leadership; and track responses and/or actionable outcomes, ensuring that matters submitted by faculty members are addressed appropriately.
As mentioned, all responses will remain anonymous and will be used solely to help our office understand, respond to and share the input of MSU Denver faculty members, with the central goal of improving the well-being and enriching the experiences of our faculty.
