Metropolitan State University of Denver will host a Transfer Champion Symposium on Feb. 15. MSU Denver faculty and staff members and administrators as well as partners across the Colorado community-college system will participate in the half-day conference. They will collaborate and identify opportunities to better support transfer students from their first semester at a community college through the completion of their bachelor’s degree at MSU Denver.

The call for programs for general-interest sessions and other presentation types is now open. Employees who are interested in presenting should focus their submissions on the following areas:

  • Exploring opportunities to better understand and support the diverse needs of transfer students.
  • Discussing updates and changes to curriculum, policies and/or procedures that directly impact transfer-student success.
  • Networking and strengthening partnerships with community-college faculty, staff and administration.

Proposals are due by Dec. 15.
