Open Educational Resources can be a valuable, cost-efficient resource for staying up to date with relevant, high-quality material. The online hub has access to licensed free materials that are useful for teaching, learning, assessing and research.

For faculty members who would like to learn more about OER, Metropolitan State University of Denver is hosting an open-textbook workshop June 15 from 1-2:30 p.m. After the workshop, attendees will be invited to review an open textbook or another resource in their field and earn a $200 stipend. The event will be held on Teams. Registration is available here.

For those who are more advanced with OER, MSU Denver is also offering a $750 stipend to some employees who would like to incorporate or develop OER. The application must be submitted by June 3.

Lastly, there will also be a free state OER conference at History Colorado on June 24 with lunch provided. Those interested can register here.
