Great things happen every day at Metropolitan State University of Denver, and there are many ways to share them among employees and the Denver population. Consider the four methods below to share your personal accomplishments or to applaud students and colleagues.

Submit your Faculty and Staff Citings

If you have recently published or presented, submit the details about it here. Submissions will be considered for inclusion in a roundup of Faculty and Staff Citings.

 Please be sure to include:

  • The name of your paper or presentation.
  • Names, titles and higher-education institutions of all authors.
  • The name of the book, journal or conference in which it was presented.
  • Any relevant links or attachments that could be helpful.

Share your good news

If you have good news and don’t know whom to tell, tell the Early Bird. This includes grants, awards and accomplishments from any department, program, employee, alum or student. Submissions will be considered for the Kudos roundup, which are always available to include on any MSU Denver webpage.

Nominate a colleague for recognition from President Davidson

Each month, President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., honors employees who are making an impact through great teaching, service to students or innovation in their respective areas. Launched in September 2020, the Roadrunner Shoutout Award is a celebration of the extraordinary work happening every day across the University. Nominate a faculty member, staff member or outstanding student employee to receive a Roadrunner Shoutout Award and recognition at the monthly President’s Cabinet meeting.

Share your Changemakers Wanted story

Changemakers are everywhere at MSU Denver, and the University wants to know about them. Tell the University Communications and Marketing team about yourself or a Roadrunner you know who is blazing a trail as a Changemaker. See what’s being already written about your colleagues in the Early Bird and RED Changemaker profiles and submit yourself or a colleague who comes to mind. Submissions will be considered for a profile in the Early Bird or RED.
