Welcome to the second edition of Early Bird Trivia Tuesday!
Each Tuesday through Sept. 25, the Early Bird will publish a short news quiz based on the previous week’s articles and University news. One faculty member, staff member or student employee who answers all five trivia questions correctly will be chosen at random to win a Metropolitan State University of Denver swag bag.
Put your knowledge to the test before the weekly cutoff of Thursday at 11:59 p.m., then tune in the following Tuesday to meet the winner and participate in the next round.

Meet Week No. 1 Winner
Week 1 of the Early Bird’s Trivia Tuesday series saw 35 perfect scores. This week’s winner, selected via random generator, is Metza Templeton!
Metza is a systems specialist with the Office of the Registar. She has been an employee for more than 17 years and is also a proud MSU Denver alumna, graduating in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Management. She manages the matching of classrooms to classes and performs the training for departments entering schedules in Canvas Banner Student module. She served as president of the Classified Staff Council from 2016-19 and was on the committee that created the Staff Senate. She says the best part of being an MSU Denver employee is the people she works alongside. She reads the Early Bird to remain in the know about University operations and see what’s new around campus. You will know when you see her — she wears purple whenever possible, including all of her accessories.
