The Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty brain trust reaches almost every point on the academic spectrum, and we are always proud to see Roadrunners sharing their knowledge. Each month, the Early Bird highlights a few faculty members who have served as subject-matter experts on timely news topics, providing dynamic perspectives on critical issues.

  • Ben Dyhr, Ph.D., Math and Statistics associate professor, interviewed with Fox31 and Channel 2 about the odds of the Denver Nuggets winning Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.

  • Robert Preuhs, Ph.D., Political Science chair and professor, interviewed with Colorado Politics about Mike Johnston’s ability to secure wider geographic support in Denver as a key factor in his mayoral victory.
