Each month, the Early Bird highlights a few faculty members who have served as subject-matter experts on timely news topics, providing dynamic perspectives on critical issues.  

Here’s a sampling from May:  

Shawn Worthy, Human Services and Counseling professor, interviewed with KOA News Radio and Fox31 about expectations and success factors in the Denver Nuggets’ winning formula.  

Carmen Reale, Aviation and Aerospace Science affiliate professor, interviewed with Fox31 and the Colorado Sun about the expected increase in flight delays this summer due to a shortage of air-traffic controllers.  

Denise Mowder, Criminal Justice and Criminology professor, interviewed with Denver7 and Fox31 about the legalities and privacy concerns of digital search warrants, which were used in two criminal cases to apprehend suspects and move forward with charges.
