The Health Center at Auraria will offer vaccines for Covid-19, RSV (available to people ages 60 and older) and flu Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Plaza Building, Room 111, on a walk-in basis through Nov. 17.

Vaccines are provided at no cost to campus constituents with a campus ID.

Covid-19 testing at the Health Center at Auraria

  • Covid-19 test results are generally available within 38 minutes using on-site PCR testing, which also tests for flu and RSV.
  • Patients with positive results will be contacted immediately, usually with a phone call but also through their Patient Portal.

Testing protocol for people who have recently had Covid-19

If someone tests positive for Covid-19, they should wait three months before receiving a Covid-19 vaccine but can receive the flu vaccine anytime.

People who test positive for Covid-19 should:

  1. Isolate at home for five days from the onset of symptoms.
  2. After five days of isolation, if symptoms are improving, then they may leave isolation but should wear a mask for the next five days.
  3. If symptoms are not improving after five days, further evaluation may be needed. In this case, individuals should remain in isolation and follow up with their medical provider.

Protecting yourself and others

It is important for the health and well-being of the campus community that campus constituents who feel ill or are symptomatic stay home and avoid coming to campus.
