Required Next Steps

Congratulations on your acceptance to the CYBM Program and MSU Denver! Follow these steps NOW to make sure you are on track to begin the program in Fall 2022:

Step 1: Confirm, Defer, or Decline your enrollment

It is very important to let us know your decision! Make sure to fill out this form within 10 days after receiving the acceptance letter.

Step 2: If you are provisionally accepted, please contact us to review your specific conditions of acceptance.

If you are accepted provisionally, please contact Lucy Daberkow [email protected] for details and next steps.

Step 3: Set up your MSU Denver NetID Account

Your NetID is your single sign-on used to log into many University resources.

Step 4: Activate your email at the Student Hub

Your MSU Denver email is the official means of communication at the University and, going forward, will be the only way we communicate with you.

Step 5: Register for CYBM classes at the Student Hub

Here’s detailed instructions on how to REGISTER

Step 6: For those who are qualified for scholarship (s) according to your acceptance letter:

Please go to Scholarships & Awards .  These scholarship(s) are very limited in number and are on a first come first serve basis. In order to be considered, a scholarship application must be completed online.

Attention: You must complete step 3 (NetID) and step 4 (MSU Denver email) before you start to apply for the scholarship(s).

Scholarship and Financial Aid Opportunities

The CYBM Program is pleased to offer several scholarship opportunities. Full descriptions and timelines of these opportunities are on our website at Scholarships & Awards.

Students in need of other types of financial aid, including loans and grants, should work with the Office of Financial Aid.

Fall Orientation 2022-TBA

All newly admitted students will need to attend our program’s new student orientation at TBA online-this orientation is mandatory as it will provide important tools to help you succeed during your studies. Check your email for details.

Orientation activities may include the following:

  • Introducing faculty members
  • Meeting the Program Manager
  • Registering for classes
  • Navigating administrative tasks
  • Advising
  • Students may sign up in advance for a one-on-one advising appointment if needed (email Lucy Daberkow at [email protected] to set up a meeting time)
