Your Career Support Is Online Too

Being an online student doesn’t mean you’re on your own when it comes to figuring out what’s next. MSU Denver’s Classroom to Career Hub (C2Hub) is here for you. Online students are eligible for all of the C2Hub career services and events.

Not sure where or how to start getting career advice or help? Start with Virtual Career Support Drop-Ins. No appointment. No commute. Just a quick Teams conversation with a real Career Advisor, on Mondays and Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. through the end of March. If you have ten minutes and a question, that’s enough to get started.

What Can You Talk About?

Quite a bit, as it turns out. Drop-in conversations cover things like:

  • Exploring career paths and figuring out what your degree can lead to
  • What skills employers are actually looking for right now
  • How to find jobs and internships
  • Resume and cover letter feedback
  • Graduate school prep
  • Making the most of C2Hub tools and resources

Whether you’re just starting to think about your career or you’re close to graduation and ready to make a move, there’s no wrong reason to drop in.

This Is What a Career-Connected Campus Looks Like

In November 2025, the Colorado Department of Higher Education recognized MSU Denver with its Career Connected Campus Designation, a recognition based on how well a university integrates career readiness into the actual student experience, not just as an add-on, but as part of what it means to be a Roadrunner.

For online students, it means the investment MSU Denver has made in career support, advising, employer partnerships, and experiential learning is built to reach you wherever you are. The virtual drop-ins are one example of that. Career Link, the C2Hub’s online platform where you can search jobs and internships, upload your resume, and register for events, is another. So is the Earn and Learn program, which provides funding for students who need financial support to take on unpaid internships.

You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

A lot of MSU Denver students are working while they study. Many are the first in their families to pursue a degree. Some are changing careers. Some are finishing something they started years ago. The C2Hub is built with that reality in mind, not a version of college that assumes you have unlimited time and a clear five-year plan.

If you’re not sure where to start, that’s a perfectly good reason to drop in. Career advisors can help you think through what your degree could lead to, what steps make sense right now, and what resources are available to help you get there.
