Here’s how MSU Denver Professors can reserve the Art Department laptop cart, or obtain other gear for Art classes, such as cameras, projectors, computer accessories and other equipment.
Checkout Process
Art Tech Gear items are now stored in AR190 near the Art Main Office across from Sculpture, and scanning your Professor ID card will give you access.
- Professors can check gear out for themselves
- Professors can check gear out to their students
- Staff can check gear out for themselves
First navigate to this Art Tech Gear webpage (shortcut is qrco.de/ArtTechGear, this link matches the QR code on the door of AR190) and then hit the Checkout Gear Now link, and you’ll find the three QR form links:
- Fill in the Checkout and Return Gear Form when you take or return anything.
- If the gear is for checkout to a student, also have them fill in and sign the Student Gear Checkout Loan Agreement.
- Note that the Laptop Cart checkout form is separate from all other gear checkout. This is a manual calendar that the Art Tech Support Staff person maintains and will contact you to let you know your reservation is approved. This is due to possible overlap in need.
Additional details:
- Checkout of Art Tech Gear is available to Professors only, in AR190. If you are a student wanting to access checkout gear, please ask your Professor to contact the Art Tech Staff person (achris24@msudenver).
- If you are a Professor who wants to checkout gear to students or get the gear returned and you need assistance with coordinating the exchange of equipment, please contact the Art Tech Support Staff person (achris24@msudenver).
- This AR190 closet is not staffed for regular business hours, so please return items to the place where you found them, and email the Art Tech Staff person about issues or if anything needs repair (achris24@msudenver).
Art Communication Design (CDES) students
can checkout gear through CN311G.
Students registered for photography classes
can checkout gear from the Photography Lab.
Foundations gear and printer are available for Foundations Professor use and stored separately in AR166C and AR166F.
Art Tech Gear Checkout
Professors can check out gear in ART 190. They can check the gear out for their own use or to check out to their students. Students must read, fill in, and sign the Student Gear Checkout Loan Agreement first.
Reserve Art Laptop Cart
Professors can reserve laptops for use during class.
Please let the Art Tech Staff know if they can help coordinate pickup or return of gear or if you need additional gear purchased or added to the inventory.
