Inspection and Test

The Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute (AMSI) provides comprehensive inspection and testing capabilities to ensure the accuracy, quality, and performance of manufactured components. Our facilities support dimensional inspection using precision hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments, as well as advanced equipment including an Optical Comparator and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for high-accuracy measurement and verification. In addition, AMSI offers testing capabilities such as vibration testing to evaluate product durability under dynamic conditions and universal testing machines to measure the strength and mechanical properties of materials through precise tensile and compressive force application.

AMSI expertise

AMSI staff and student teams bring a unique combination of perspectives and skills to the inspection and test process. Our experienced industry professionals, innovative educators, and students are trained in the latest processes, tools, and techniques. Our unique blend of consulting expertise and hands-on manufacturing capability makes us a trusted partner for entrepreneurs and companies looking to thrive in an increasingly competitive manufacturing landscape.
