Bio

Given that my Doctorate was completed in 2020, I am an AACSB Scholarly Academic faculty member in the CBUS. I am an Assistant Professor at CIS&BA department since August 2020. I have two master's degrees (MBA and in Economics) and Ph.D. in Management Sciences (Operations Management). I received my first higher education in Ukraine. In 2001 I graduated from the Donetsk National University with a diploma of Economist with distinction, my major was International Economics. The next nine years benefited me with significant working experience on a position of a Head of the Economic and Procurement Departments of the Ukrainian chemical manufacturer. At the age of 25 years old I started my own business specialized in foreign trades and distribution. I was fascinated by international business activities and entrepreneurship and decided to pursue further my education in business. In 2011, as an Edmund S. Muskie Fellow (US Department Fellowship Program), I received a Master’s degree in Business Administration with concentration in Entrepreneurship at the South Carolina State University. After my graduation, I joined the multi-national steel and iron ore producer Metinvest Holding (#7 among the world steel producers) at a position of a Head of Direction in Sales and Operations Planning. Last work experience in Supply Chain Management and Sales and Operations Planning became a breeding ground for the new perspectives in academia and research. In fall 2016 I joined the PhD Program at the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated in 2020. My research interests include Behavioral Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. I am a fan of traveling, skiing, hiking, swimming and yoga, books and music, and cooking new recipes.
