Research Interests

My research covers regional and local climate change along the Chilean Andes, the initialization of mesoscale convective systems across Eastern Colorado, mesoscale snowband formation over the Midwest, and high-impact strong tornado events along the High Plains.

Teaching Interests

MSU Denver students come from diverse academic and socio-economic backgrounds, requiring various pedagogical approaches to prepare them for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) degrees. My educational philosophy is based on different teaching methods aimed at helping students develop a strong analytical mindset and become critical thinkers capable of solving complex issues in Meteorology.
