Bio
Philip Skaff has been teaching at Metropolitan State University of Denver since January 2009. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an Art Minor from MSU Denver in 1998. After graduating he spent years traveling, studying and working abroad. After spending almost a year in Africa he became interested in nutrition and decided to attend Colorado State University for a Master’s in Nutrition. In 2008 he completed a Registered Dietitian internship with the Florida Department of Education and shortly after he started teaching at MSU Denver. Philip’s philosophy on teaching and learning is that it should be fun, interactive, and challenging.
He’s originally from Colorado and lives the Colorado lifestyle. He loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker and cyclist for over 35 years. Teaching is his passion and he hopes to inspire his students to live a long and healthy life.
