Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
How MSU Denver is designing the new software for smooth implementation.
As the University implements Workday Student, the project team is creating a smoother, more supportive experience for students, faculty and staff.
Workday Student is a cloud-based student information system designed to support everything from registration and advising to financial aid and academic planning — all in one integrated mobile-first platform. But this isn’t just a tech upgrade project. It’s a strategic investment in how Metropolitan State University of Denver serves its students.
To guide this transformation, the project team is using a systems design lab approach: Explore, Design, Build, Refine. This model, supported by partner Accenture, helps the team move through each phase of implementation with intention and care.
This approach is about learning together, building confidence and making sure the system reflects the realities of students and staff.
“The design lab model gives us space to learn, experiment and improve. It’s not just about getting it right — it’s about getting it right for MSU Denver,” said Kevin Lole, student solutions product manager in Information Technology Services.
This week, the team will host three days of deep engagement with its Accenture partners. These conference-style sessions will include:
This change will make MSU Denver more student-ready, together.
