MSU Denver’s student-run marketing agency Rowdy Minds Marketing took a major step into Denver’s professional advertising scene. The team was invited to present at Indie Agency News’ Show Off Denver event, where some of the city’s top agencies gathered to share work, connect, and celebrate creativity.

Co-founders Amelia Yeats and Eloise Gomez Corona, alongside VP of Project Management Cindy Hernandez, the agency’s branding process, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how students are building real, strategic work from the ground up. They presented alongside well-established agencies, earning both attention and respect from industry professionals.

One agency founder even remarked that the Rowdy Minds Marketing team “showed up all of us professionals.”

Beyond the presentation, the night created meaningful opportunities for connection. “We had so many industry professionals give us their information,” said Amelia. Eloise added that the experience was “a great opportunity to show what MSU Denver students are capable of.” Cindy described the evening as “inspirational,” noting that the team not only learned about emerging trends but also connected with the creative minds behind them.

Hosted at Sukle Advertising’s headquarters in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood, the event centered on community as much as creativity. Networking before and after the presentations gave the Rowdy Minds team direct access to professionals eager to support the next generation of talent.

That support was clear. Many attendees shared that they wished they had similar opportunities as students and expressed genuine interest in helping Rowdy Minds grow. Some offered agency tours, shadowing experiences, and even resources to support the team’s future work.

The impact of the evening went far beyond a single presentation. It opened doors, built relationships, and reinforced what makes Rowdy Minds Marketing special: students doing real work, making real connections, and proving they belong in the room.
