The MSU Denver College of Business proudly sponsored the Adelante Latina Convention at Tivoli Turnhalle, bringing together Latina entrepreneurs, leaders, and professionals for a day of inspiration, learning, and connection.
The Adelante Latina Convention empowered Latinas to thrive in business and leadership by providing a space to pause, reflect, and gain practical tools, mentorship, and connections that help women advance with confidence and intention. The convention was filled with energy as attendees explored strategies for business growth, authentic leadership, and personal development while building meaningful relationships with women who share their vision and ambition.
Maria González, Founder and CEO of Adelante Community Development and an MSU Denver alum, was a standout at the event. She was joined by an incredible lineup of speakers, including Stephanie Carvajalino of Biz Nation USA, Renee Ferrufino of The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, and Yvonne Armenta of ¡Latina, Presente!, who shared valuable insights and practical tools around technology, AI, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Thanks to the sponsorship from MSU Denver, the convention was more than a single-day event. It celebrated Latina leadership, entrepreneurship, and community while highlighting the opportunities created when organizations invest in diverse leaders. We also extend a special thank you to Adelante Community Development for organizing such an inspiring convention and bringing together so many talented women.
