Biography

Ms. Roe is the Assistant Director for the Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute (AMSI) housed in the Aerospace and Engineering Sciences Building. She manages department operations, provides academic and internship advising to advanced manufacturing students, and works with industry partners to provide opportunities for high school and college students. She has served on the Women in Manufacturing Colorado Chapter Board since July 2021.

Shannon has worked at MSU Denver since March of 2019 and joined AMSI in October of 2020. She is a mission-driven professional with experience in administration, operations, event management, and marketing and communications in the nonprofit, private, and public sector. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Colorado.
