Biography

Shane Endsley is a lecturer and coordinator in the JAIM Department at MSU Denver. He is an active performer, co-founder of the Grammy nominated group Kneebody, and was named one of the top 25 trumpeters of his generation by Downbeat magazine.

Research Interests

    - Creating access and interest in the arts through grass roots organizing and collaboration.

Teaching Interests

    Shane believes in imbuing his students with a thorough foundation in the fundamental skills of music performance while exploring and supporting their personal interests and goals as artists. His students are exposed to a wide variety of repertoire and encouraged to develop the tools to function well in an array of musical settings.
